The answer is clear and resounding YES.

According to a recent article from bizjournals.com, the market in South Florida skyrocketed and have continued to do so in 2021. Some statistics from the article (referenced at the bottom of the blog):
- Single-family home sales in the tri-county area jumped 28.7% to 5,143 compared to the same month a year ago. The median sales price increased 20.4% to $457,500.
- Statewide, the story was much the same. Single-family home sales were up 23.3% while the median sales price climbed 18.9% to $327,000.
- Meanwhile, condo/townhouse sales in South Florida surged 49.8% to 5,991 while the median sales price increased 18.6% to $255,000.
- Throughout Florida, condo/townhouse sales jumped 52.6% while the median sales price grew 15.2% to $242,000.
