When people think of Florida vacations, Miami, Orlando / Disneyworld and Fort Lauderdale are some of the first places that come to mind. While those are all wonderful spots, there is one in particular that needs to be considered…and that’s Palm Beach Gardens tucked away in Northern Palm Beach County. It is truly a vacation paradise and we speak from experience!
Artie and I have owned a home in Jupiter for many years and recently downsized from a house to a condo in the quaint seaside Town of Juno Beach, where we LOVE living!
When we decided to downsize, staying in the North Palm Beach County area was a no brainer. For those that have gone through the process, you know that much of it is about simplifying your life but it is also about finding that new home. During our transition, we had the very special opportunity to rent in the brand new Alton Town Center community, at that time the newest shining star of Palm Beach Gardens. Offering everything from shopping to dining to pampering yourself with a spa day, “Alton Town Center” is a “one-of-a-kind” development with marketing programs, initiatives, and event schedules all custom designed to continually promote “everything business” that restaurants, services and retailers have to offer daily, monthly and seasonally, getting customers to return again and again. We had the pleasure of watching Alton Town Center grow from an empty patch of land to a booming city center offering a variety of amazing options to meet-up with friends and family – something for kids of all ages, including adults. It was one of the only times since childhood where we felt like we were almost” city kids” again where everything is so accessible. We could literally walk to the grocery store and even have options like the brand new Home Depot, great to have so close for A-Z Home Watch Solutions’ owners.
This blog shines a spotlight on what a lovely city Palm Beach Gardens is to live, study and work in. All the bases are covered including education, healthcare and of course, golf. Palm Beach State College now has a 4-year program and offers a sprawling campus. Palm Beach Gardens is home to the beautiful Gardens Mall, a shoppers dream, and Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center is rated as one of the top heart hospitals in the country. If you are a golfer, you can’t get any better than Palm Beach Gardens. When you fly into almost any part of Florida, you will see a plethora of beautifully kept golf courses but only one location was chosen as the home of the PGA National and that’s in the beautiful area of Palm Beach Gardens. The PGA National Resort hosts the PGA Tour and Honda Classic each winter.
As longtime Florida residents deeply entrenched in Northern Palm Beach County, we feel extremely fortunate to live and work in such a beautiful part of the country.
